Basically MR-2XX models are carryover designs of old Marantz units that were kept after Philips took over for whatever reason. So the MR-215 should be the same as the 1515. I did a good bit of research into this a while ago, in fact they supposedly call for the same service manuals. There are a few others, usually they have an \"M\" as the prefix as opposed to whatever else they may have used. They did this for a few cassette decks, TTs, Tuners and receivers that I am aware of.
